CAMPELLO
 
Kilometres of beaches El Campello, with cristal - clear waters, gentle sea breezes in summer and
mild winter days combine with the hospitable nature of the inhabitants. The town dates back to
the Bronze Age although the evolution of this small, sea ton has endowed it with a modern outlook.

El Campello has a varied and attractive coastline of 23 km. length. At the extreme north, next to
Coveta Fumá, there are cliffs and small coves of sand, gravel and rocks with clear water that
are celebrated nudist beaches. Alongside the Port and the fishing area there is an urban beach
that runs parallel to the seaside promenade and that is connected to another small cove that makes
a perfect inlet for first - time sailors.
 
The N - 332 and the A - 7 motorway access El Campello. You can also access it by narrow gauge
train and tram. The tram line runs along Alicante - El Campello. There is a tram every 20 - 30
minutes, and the duration of the trip is 20 minutes. Alicante airport is 15 minutes away.


ALICANTE
 
By road, boat or plane. Any means of transport is suitable to get to this city called
" City of light ". With more than 3000 years of history, patent in the remains left by
different civilizations, the capital of the Costa Blanca offers the most varied landscapes
and the most enviable contrasts. A cultural city with wide parks, gardens and a city centre
with lots of businesses, Alicante also enjoys night - life. Furthermore, it´s fine sand

As one would expect of a sea - oriented city, the sea front ( with its beaches, port an promenade )
is the main characteristic of Alicante. The fine sands of San Juan, the well - know beach
furthest to the north with a full range of services and seasonal facilities for the rental of
catamarans and windsurfs, stretches 3 km. to Cape Huertas which separates it from the popular
Albufereta beach. Next to the town centre and the promenade lies Postiguet beach, a former spa
and now lively all year round.
 
The port is the busiest leisure area in ALicante with, in addition to restaurants, pubs and discos,
a yacht club and marina with hundreds of possibilities for learning to sail : dinghy sailing,
chartered vessels and diving centres. Boats sail from the port to the Isla de Tabarca marine nature
reserve, with a small, clean, sand and pebble beach and a remarcable sabed carpeted in underwater
plants that is a paradise for diving enthusiasts.
 
The A - 7 motorway and the 340 and 330 A - roads give access to the city of Alicante, which has a
railway station and an airport locates a few kilometres from the urban centre.

Alicante airport is 40 kilometres away, the A 7 motorway, at exit ( 65 ) leads directly to the
municipality. It is also possible to reach Benidorm via the N - 332. There is also both a bus
and a train service.
